What does it take to be an entrepreneur?
What does it really take to be an entrepreneur?
A few months ago, I was featured in Bold Journey Magazine.
While the interview opened with questions about resilience, it was their question about what it takes to be successful as an entrepreneur that resonated the most.
My answer wasn’t about hustle culture or morning routines.
The three keys to my success? ⤵️
1️⃣ A supportive community of fellow women entrepreneurs
→ Your cheerleaders when you're doubting yourself
→ Your truth-tellers when you need perspective
→ Your idea-bouncers when you're stuck
→ Your shoulder to cry on when things are tough
2️⃣ Knowing when to ask for help
→ Trying to do it all yourself isn't brave—it's exhausting.
3️⃣ Setting adjective goals (not just financial ones)
→ I talk about it all the time because this last one was a complete game-changer.
The beauty of adjective goals?
→ They're flexible
→ There's multiple paths to achieve them
→ They consider your life as a whole, not just your business
→ They become your north star for every decision
Being an entrepreneur can be hard. Really hard sometimes.
But having a strong community, being willing to ask for help, and focusing on how you want your life to feel? That's what helps you get through the tough days.
